Eating - Cork

Cork’s tradition of using very fresh local and seasonal produce makes eating in this city a treat. Seafood is of particularly high quality, with fresh catches daily from the surrounding fishing villages, and is available in a whole host of restaurants. Other specialities for the more adventurous eater include crubeens, or pig’s feet, and drisheen, a type of blood sausage, available in several restaurants, including the Farmgate Café in the English Market (see below).
