There are five of these dotted throughout the city perfect after a long day shopping in the city. Merlo have created events such as the Red Ride for Life for the Australian Red Cross Blood Service and mentored kids via the Beacon Foundation, to give back to the local community.

This is a very small but nicely done café with a large window open to the street. They serve coffee, cakes, toasties and a few cooked dishes. Famous also for serving delicious breakfast.

This restaurant serves vegetarian and vegan food, they also do catering for vegetarians. The backyard is used for casual functions. Sassafras is Australian for "place of many delicious and quirky things", at least according to their own vocabulary.
