Brisbane - Cafes
In Brisbane you will have many options of enjoying a great cup of coffee in the sun along with a sweet treat.
The Gun Shop Café
The only fault to be found here is that the breakfasts are too popular, but the generous portions of food are worth waiting for. They serve fresh juice, organic tea and merlo coffee.
Bar Merlo
There are five of these dotted throughout the city perfect after a long day shopping in the city. Merlo have created events such as the Red Ride for Life for the Australian Red Cross Blood Service and mentored kids via the Beacon Foundation, to give back to the local community.
Au Cirque
This is a very small but nicely done café with a large window open to the street. They serve coffee, cakes, toasties and a few cooked dishes. Famous also for serving delicious breakfast.
Spoon Dell
All the food served at Spoon Deli is prepared on the premises and spans across Asian, Middle Eastern, European and Australian cuisine. The produce is always fresh and the Deli is stylish and unique.
Sassafras
This restaurant serves vegetarian and vegan food, they also do catering for vegetarians. The backyard is used for casual functions. Sassafras is Australian for "place of many delicious and quirky things", at least according to their own vocabulary.
