The Ice Hotel in Jukkasjärvi
In Jukkasjärvi just north of Kiruna you can experience one of the world’s most spectacular buildings. The hotel is built entirely out of ice and snow and you sleep on beds consisting of a snow/ice core, a base of wooden planks, a mattress and reindeer hides. The temperature inside the ice hotel varies between -4 -9 degrees, but your stay is made comfortable thanks to warm clothes and a cosy sleeping bag which keeps you warm. In addition there is an ice bar and art made of ice.
Scandic Ferrum
Central located hotel with magnificent views over the mountains and the Kebnekaise massif. There are three restaurants, four bars and a nightclub in the building. In addition there is a large relaxation suite.
Hotel Rallaren
Hotel Rallaren opened in 2004, and was inspired by the traditional Sami way of life. The building was erected in 1906 and was initially used by the workers who were constructing the Iron Ore Railway Line. Some rooms have an open fire.
Hotel Arctic Eden
Hotel Arctic Eden was previously a school and today a modern hotel with interior inspired from the Sami culture and the Sapmi region. Here you will find lovely comfortable rooms.
