Subrosa is a cool bar in the Nordstadt. They have poetry readings in the week and live acoustic sets on the weekend. Very UNdesigned and great atmosphere.
Kaktus Farm
Students love this place – the cocktails at € 2.90 from Tuesday to Thursday might have something to do with it. Kaktus Farm occasionally has live music.
Sixx.pm
One of the principal clubs in town which attracts a mixed crowd. Sixx.pm has two dance floors and a variety of music: electro-punk, industrial, house, revival, 80s etc.

Nightrooms is a huge place with three dance floors and two lounge areas. They play everything from disco to soul, lounge and chart sounds.
