Airport
The Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart airport of Salzburg is just over an hour drive away from the ski resort. However, there is an airport express bus which can take you to Saalbach in 80 minutes.
There is a direct bus link to Salzburg railway station, as it is from there the most of the regional buses leave from. There is also a train from Salzburg railway station, but it will take at least 2 hours to get to Saalbach –Hinterglemm by train.

The local traffic in Saalbach is calm, and it is easy to get around. The town can be covered by foot but there are ski buses and local taxi companies.
