Welcome to Kitzbühel
Kitzbühel, with its charm, scenic skiing and lively aprés ski is one of the most famous ski resorts in the world. This has mostly to do with the annual downhill race "The Hahnenkamm" that takes place here. The slopes offers excellent conditions for beginners as well as the more experienced skiers and snowboarders, and powder snow can be guaranteed nearly all year around.
The surroundings, with rough peaks, green fields and lively mountain rivers all represent the picturesque Austria and makes Kitzbühel a place to visit even if you are not skiing. The non-skiing attractions are plenty - leisurely cross-country excursion and hiking, ice skating and even cruising. Kitzbühel is also a town to just stroll around or for shopping.
