Liverpool - Do & See

Liverpool Cathedral
The largest Anglican Cathedral in Britain offers great panoramic views from the top of the tower. The church contains the largest organ in the UK and the heaviest bell in the world.
Albert Dock
Originally built in 1846 as the first enclosed non-combustible dock warehouse system in the world. Today, the docks house a museum, several bars and restaurants and many shops.
Tate Liverpool
The Tate is one of the largest galleries of modern and contemporary art outside of London. Here you will always find interesting exhibitions.
The Walker Museum
Founded by local brewer Andrew Barclay Walker in 1877, the Walker Museum holds a fine collection of sculptures and paintings dating back to 1300 through to the present day.
Liverpool Fc Museum And Stadium Tour
A must see for all football fans. Liverpool Football Club has won more European titles than any other English club and has a long-standing rivalry with Manchester United. You don’t even have to be interested in soccer to watch a game, just appreciate the cheers and the atmosphere.

Mendips - John Lennon Home

20 Forthlin Road - Paul McCartney Home
It is possible to combine the tour of Lennon´s home with McCartney´s childhood home. The house is now a part of the National Trust and keep in mind that the only way to get access to inside of the house is with tickets bought through the National Trust.
St. George's Hall
St. George's Hall is a Neoclassic building located opposite the Lime Street railway station. It has been used for both Crown and Civil courts as well as theatres and concerts. It is a centre point of the city and is still used for many different events.
Merseyside Maritime Museum
Merseyside Maritime Museum tells the story of Liverpool´s dock. Find out the impact Liverpool had on the shipping industry, see the slave exhibition and visit the Titanic exhibition.
Royal Liverpool Philharmonic
The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Buddy Holly have all appeared here during their career. The Hall sells over 250,000 tickets annually and if there is a concert on while you are visiting you should take the chance and go.
Another Place
These out door sculptures are spread out on the beach, stretching 3.2 km. It has been exhibited on different places in Europe but it has now landed here. The wonderful sculptures overlook the water, standing 180 cm tall and weighing 650 kg, it is a gorgeous sight.
Pier Head
The Pier Head is a part of the Liverpool Maritime Mercantile City UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you will find many different landmarks and is a perfect place to take a stroll to get acquainting with Liverpool.
Knowsley Safari Park
Not everyone has the opportunity to travel to Africa, but if you are in Liverpool you have the opportunity to visit Knowsley Safari Park. Here you can see a few of the animals of the savannah and, if you dare, go on the Walk-around tour.
Formby Point
At Formby Point you can enjoy nature and beautiful views over the massive sand dunes. Do not forget the camera as you will enjoy Liverpool’s wildlife, you might just see sand lizards and toads.
