Ankara - Essential Information
Airport
Esenboğa International Airport is located approximately 33km north of Ankara. Havaş, airport buses and shuttles run regularly to and from the city. They have two stops in the city, one near the stadium and one in Asti Bus Terminal, in front of passenger arrival hall, civilian car park.
There are also city buses, EGO, to and from the airport. Their last stop is in Kızılay and the fare is around 4 TL. There are private shuttle services you can book for about 30TL payable on your CC and they pick you up from your address and vice versa. Taxis are another option (meter opens at 2.2 TL and its 2.20 TL for each kilometre).
Public Transport
The Metro and Ankaray, both underground transport, are the fastest way to get round some parts of the city. City buses go all around the city, but you need to buy tickets. Asti Bus Terminal is the main bus terminal, here you can take the bus to any destination within the country and it is located about 5km southwest of the city centre.

Post offices are open from 8:30-17.30 with some branches closing for lunch 12:30-13:30 Monday to Friday and a few branches are open on Saturdays. Summer times are the same. For more detailed information on specific branches.
Pharmacy
Pharmacies are plenty and easy to spot. In each neighbourhood, you can find one pharmacy that is open all night, Nöbetçi Eczane. Their names and addresses are written on the windows of all pharmacies.
